Thor: Love and Thunder is one of the most anticipated movie in the slate of Phase 4 which will see the return of Jane Foster but this time as the Mighty Thor. The revelation shocked the fans and there have been no plot leaks on how and why will Jane Foster be played as the God of Thunder.
Previously, set photos revealed a pretty jacked Natalie Portman for her role as Mighty Thor. Now, a recent leak reveals how she will be looking in the highly anticipated project.

Jane Foster seems to be in a costume quite a lot similar to the comics as she carries the Mjolnir.
We last saw Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame which was taken by Thor from past. Earlier, the main timeline's Mjolnir was completely destroyed by the Goddess of Death, Hela. This new image might reveal something more important about the hammer.
Mjolnir was first noticed in earlier set footages, yielded by Chris Hemsworth's stunt double. But there have been no confirmations on how we will see the return of the glorious weapon. The recent leaked t-shirt photo might reveal something important about that.
Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that the Mjolnir Jane Foster is holding seems to have cracks on it. It is still a 50% that the cracks actually could be sparks of lightning. But if it really is the crack, then the Mjolnir we saw being destroyed by Hela will return in one piece again. This confirms that Jane Foster will not carry Mjolnir from another universe or she will not be from other universe or timeline which many fans had speculated.
As this could be the same Jane Foster we saw in earlier movies, it seems Taika Waititi will develop her character to a new level in the upcoming installment. It will be interesting to see where Jane Foster was all this time and if she managed to escape the Blip or not.
All the questions will be answered as Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit the theaters on May 6, 2022.
