Thor Love and Thunder, the only fourth installment of an original Avenger, has already started filming in Australia. Recent news confirmed that the Guardians of the Galaxy was a part of the cast and was seen on set. Also, Karen Gillan's Nebula and Pom Klementieff's Mantis have finished filming for the project and have moved on. Chris Pratt's Star-Lord was also seen having deep connection in the movie revealed by set photos. Now recent video proves the re-appearance of Thor's Hammer Mjolnir which was destroyed by Hela in Thor Ragnarok.
Chris Hemsworth's stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, posted a video (now deleted) in TikTok showing his moves of the God of Thunder with the legendary Mjolnir in hand while set ACDC's Thunderstruck.
In the video, we see him running towards a mat and jumping at a super-heroic height, by the help of stunt ropes, and thrusts the hammer to hit a box in front of him. The next close up shot was of him intensely staring at it as the camera zooms to his body.
As we all know, Taika Waititi loves some grand Thor entrance like we saw in Thor Ragnarok when he discovered his true powers while. This scene was magnificently empowered by setting up Led Zeppelin's The Immigrant song. So, it can be assured that the fourth installment will also have such banger scenes of Thor showing off his higher powers while ACDC's Thunderstruck plays on.
Last time we saw Mjolnir, it was yielded by Captain America in Avengers Endgame. But after the events of the final battle, Steve Rogers took the hammer to the past, where it belongs. So where did the Mjolnir come from in this future? Well, it is hard to make guesses with such low amount of information, but as we know Multiverse will play an important role in future MCU movies, the first thing that comes to our mind about the return of Mjolnir is the existence of Multiverse. Mjolnir from a different universe could actually bring up a lot of questions relating to MCU which we still don't know how to answer.
Thor Love and Thunder has a theatrical release date of May 6, 2022.
