Thor: Love and Thunder is one of the most anticipated movies of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4. With set photos leaking the presence of the members of Guardians of the Galaxy, fans started to expect a bigger roles for the guardians team. But recent social media posts says something else.
As we know, the production of the fourth installment of Thor movies officially started about two weeks ago (via The Direct), it already seems like two members of the Guardians of the Galaxy have already finished filming and are back on their way.
Through Instagram Stories, Pom Klementieff and Karen Gillan reveal that, both of them have finished filming for the Thor sequel.
Karen Gillan (who plays Nebula) posted a story on Instagram saying her farewells to Australia, which means she has already completed her screen time filming for Thor: Love and Thunder.
On the other hand, Pom Klementieff (who plays Mantis) posted a picture of her arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport for Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible sequels. This also means she has finished her filming for Thor 4 alongside Karen Gillan.
But as we know, the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy are also present in the set of Thor 4 which include Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Sean Gunn (Kraglin). But there are no news of them finishing their filming for this big movie. Perhaps, their role in the movie is quite bigger than Nebula and Mantis as we already saw Chris Pratt in different uniform filming alongside Chris Hemsworth.
Probably, Nebula will play a greater role in the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy which is the reason behind her shorter role in Thor 4. We will see, who will be the captain of Asgardians of the Galaxy in between two Chris, as Thor: Love and Thunder is set to release on big screen in May 6, 2022.
