Thor: Love and Thunder is the first fourth installment for a MCU Superhero which fans are eagerly waiting for. The movie will see Chris Hemsworth returning as the titular hero. Being directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok, we can expect lots of fun action moments in this upcoming highly anticipated movie.
While it is confirmed that Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster and Christian Bale will be the villain, Gorr the God Butcher, there have been no further major leaks for the project. The production was halted for the COVID-19 pandemic and now it seems the film may be on its final moments.
New photos posted on Instagram by the hair designer for Thor: Love and Thunder, Luca Vannella, states the project as a gift and confirms its wrap in Sydney.
Though it is thought that the filming has totally wrapped up, but rumors suggest that the production team will move to New York City to film more new scenes. After all that, the movie will enter post-production phase and re-shoots which is likely to happen within the end of the year. Only after that we can expect a teaser trailer for the fan-anticipated project.
Thor: Love and Thunder will release after multiverse breaking movies Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, for which there will have a multiverse related connection in the movie. A film which will feature a deity like Zeus and dreaded villain Gorr the God Butcher will surely tie into the wider multiverse of MCU.
With Guardians of the Galaxy confirmed to play smaller roles in the movie and since Thor has already run into Doctor Strange before, we might get to see yet anther run in between them.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
