December 2020 is like a gift from Santa to all Marvel fans even though Marvel Studios couldn't release any Marvel content the whole year. With Kevin Feigi introducing new trailers and new movie titles in Disney's December Investor's Day, now reports are coming about different A-list actors playing roles of MCU's different characters. According to Daniel Richtman, Leonardo DiCaprio is repotedly in talks to play alternate version of Spider-Man.

Doctor Strange into the Multiverse of Madness is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of MCU besides Spider-Man 3. We already know Marvel Disney+ WandaVision series will tie to Doctor Strange 2 and will further connect with Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3. Reports also say, Spider-Man 3 will be the live-action Spider-Verse movie where Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will also be involved. Doctor Strange 2 will introduce Multiverse in MCU which may bring cameos of different alternate versions of original characters of the current MCU.

Previously, it was reported that Tom Cruise will play an alternate version of Iron-Man. Tom Cruise auditioned for this role back in 2008 before Iron-Man role was given to RDJ. This same situation is reflected in Spider-Man. The original Spider-Man, i.e Spider-Man from Sam Raimi Universe, was supposed to be played by Leonardo DiCaprio under James Cameron. But after Sam Raimi helming the franchise, Tobey Maguire was selected for the role. And now according to DanielRPK , DiCaprio is reportedly in talks for playing the role of an alternate Spider-Man.
