2020 was the first year since 2010 to not have any MCU movie released. But the studio surprised us yesterday with tons of announcements and trailer releases. It was a virtual Comic-Con for Marvel fans. Marvel announced a lot, seriously a lot in the Investors Day and here is everything that was announced during the event.
MCU Disney+ Shows
• WandaVision is just around the corner, releasing January 15th on Disney+. Marvel released a brand new trailer that gets a little more in-depth into the story without giving away too much of the plot of this crazy series.
• Falcon and the Winter is still coming in March 2021 and it got an exclusive first look for Investor Day. The show takes place after the events of Endgame.
• The Hawkeye series will have Hailee Steinfeld Stars as Archer Kate Bishop and it will stream in late 2021.
• The Loki series also got an exclusive clip and we get a look at the rest of the cast, including Owen Wilson. The series will include the TVA which is the Time Variance Authority, an organization that takes care of different timelines and monitors them The series will stream on May 2021.

• She-Hulk series' lead star will be Tatiana Maslany. It will be a comedy series and also marks the return of the Abomination from The Incredible Hulk movie played by the same actor. Plus, expect a visit from Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, in the Marvel Studios series.
• What If...? Marvel Studios' first ever animated series got a new trailer and we finally got a look at the animation style. The series will show the audience various alternate timelines where small changes lead to some very interesting new stories.

• Hawkeye is still in production and slated for late 2021. Kevin Feige confirmed that Haylee Steinfeld is playing Kate Bishop, who Hawkeye will be mentoring in the show. Vera Farmiga, Fra Free, and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez are joining the cast, and the series will be directed by Rhys Thomas and duo Bert and Bertie.
• Armor Wars was another new series that nobody expected, and it will be starring Don Cheadle as War Machine who is dealing with one of Tony Stark's worst nightmares: his tech falling into the wrong hands and the world paying the price for it.
• Ms. Marvel is still on early production stage so it gave us a sizzle reel. This series is centered around the Kamala Khan and her relationship with her family and friends. It is coming to Disney+ in late 2021.

• Secret Invasion was surprisingly announced today, and it's a Disney+ series. Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury and Avid readers will recognize Secret Invasion as one of the biggest comic events in the Marvel comic universe. Kevin Feige said it would be as big as Captain America Civil War.
• Ironheart is a series about a teenage genius, Riri Williams played Dominique Thorne is also coming and it will be connected to the Server Invasion series.
• Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, is the Studios' first special directed and written by James Gunn that will be shot alongside Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and released for the 2022 Holiday season. The release date of Guardians 3 was also confirmed to be 2023.
• I am Groot, yes it's also a short series centering our beloved Baby/teenager Groot.
Marvel Movies
• Black Widow will stick to its theatrical release on May 7, 2021. Shang Chi and the Ten Rings will be in theaters on July 9, 2021.
• Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is filming right now for a March 2022 release date. Xochitl Gomez is joining the cast as America Chavez and Sam Raimi is directing the film which will tie into both WandaVision and "the next Spider-Man film".
• Thor: Love and Thunder starts filming next month and has a theatrical release date of May 6, 2022. Christian Bale is joining the cast as the film's villain Gorr the God Butcher.

• Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, yes it's confirmed, Kang is coming.
• Black Panther II will come but the character of T'Challa won't be recasted. Rather the film will "explore the world of Wakanda & the rich characters introduced in the first film."
• Eternals, the star-studded cast was already set and the release date is now November 5, 2021 and Feige described it as one of the most ambitious projects they have ever handled.
• Blade is still coming and Mahershala Ali is still the title character. Still no word on the release date.
• The Fantastic Four, Marvel's first family will see it's MCU debut very soon. The director of Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man Far From Home is confirmed to direct the movie.

Yeah that was a lot. Marvel fans get ready as Phase 4 is right around the corner. We can't also wait for the Phase 4 to start and to see what Marvel has in stored for us.
