Just a few days back Marvel pulled out the first movie of Phase 4, Black Widow from May 2020 release date. There were many rumors circulating that it wouldn't get a theatrical release and would directly go for streaming in Disney+. But now Marvel has made an official announcement. It will have a theatrical release, which is a good news for most of the fans. But the bad news is it will be released in November which means there is a 1 year 4 months gap between Phase 3 and Phase 4.
So, now Black Widow will release on 6th of November which was originally the slot of The Eternals. Similarly all the movies till Thor 4 took the slot of the next upcoming movie. Black Panther will be released in May 8, 2022 which was announced earlier and Captain Marvel 2 has been given the release date of July 2022.
No word about Spider-Man FFH sequel and all the Disney+ Marvel series. Spider-Man 3 was supposed to start shooting this July, which is unlikely now. So it may get delayed too. All the Disney+ Marvel series are connected to the movies so they would get delayed too.
Though we have to wait a lot more, there is good in it. The studio will now have more time to develop the movies and even make them better. Sam Raimi recently took the responsibility to direct Doctor Strange 2. He would get now more time to work on it. Again we have already seen this happening. Black Widow has changed the composer to make it better. So the end product will be better than before. As Aristotle once said:
"Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet"
