The Netflix series Locke and Key has been a TV show worth watching for it's heart racing suspense and chilling mysteries. 10.Kinsey's Fear Becoming Alive
Throughout the entire season the most fearsome character had either been Dodge for her psychopathic nature or the deranged Sam Lesser. But for a moment Kinsy's fear became the most scariest character.With the Head Key,Kinsey went to her memory land and dragged her fear trying to bury it.Undoubtedly that was a very badass move by Kinsey but soon her fear broke lose and was attacking on everyone whom Kinsey was afraid of.That was a moment that gave goosebumps to
the audiences.
9.The Mirror Key
The Mirror Key has been one of the most dangerous key shown in the series. When the Lockes used the Mirror Key, a wicked version of themselves reflected on the mirror that terrorized the viewers. The reflection ushered them to step up in the mirror. We did see some bones inside the mirror world but it was never known whose bones those were. Fortunately the Lockes escaped from this mess without turning themselves into another heap of bones.
8.Discovery Of The Anywhere Key
The Anywhere Key was the first magical key that was discovered by Bode. Once Rendell Locke gave a bracelet to her daughter Kinsey Locke. When the Locke family returned to their Keyhouse estate, Bode started hearing weird murmurings. He soon found that it came from Kinsey's bracelet. He dissected the bracelet and found the Anywhere Key which proved to be one of the most noteworthy key throughout the whole series.
7.Death Of Rendell Locke
By showing bits of the past in almost every episodes we come to know about Rendell Locke.One of Rendell's student, Sam Lesser murdered him because of Dodge's manipulative activities.Later Sam confessed that he only wanted the chart of Keyhouse but had no intention of killing him. All of Rendell's children experienced his dead and it was indeed a very dolorous moment.
6.Bode Turning Into A Ghost
The Ghost Key allows the user to become a ghost when they pass through the ghost door. When Bode passed through that door,his soul and mundane body got split. He flew to a cemetery and met one of his ancestor. On the other hand his elder brother,Tyler thought that Bode's dead body was lying in front of the ghost door.In
fact at that moment Bode was enjoying flying as a ghost.
5.Humiliating Eden Hawkins
Humiliating Eden Hawkins(the bully) was probably the most funniest moment in the entire series.This scene cracked a smile in all the audiences face. The feature of the Music Box Key is that you can control anyone with it. Kinsey, Scot and Gabe made Eden do some embarrassing stuffs with it.Kinsey did cross her limit, so now there is a big question mark hanging about Kinsey's ethics.
4.Return Of Sam Lesser
Sam Lesser was imprisoned for murder of Rendell Locke. Dodge, the antagonist of the series retrieved him the Matchstick Key which helped him to get loose from prison. Dodge told him to extract the magical Keys from the Lockes saying that she had feelings for him.But in reality it was another of Dodge's trick to get hands on the keys.When Sam broke into the Keyhouse with a gun,it was certainly a scene of suspense.
3.Dodge and Lucas are the same person
Throughout the entire series the main antagonist had been Dodge who has been compared with a demon. Viewers became very astonished to see Dodge turning into Lucas by the identity key. Lucas was supposed to be drowned.So,was it the same Lucas?In fact,it was.From that moment the excitement took a new level.
2.The Black Door
The Black Door is a gateway to another world found in the lower levels of a cave in Matheson.This door can only be unlocked by the Omega Key. Demons like Dodge can come out of it if once unlocked.In the last episode,Dodge,with her wicked wit,transformed Ellie into herself by the Identity Key.Dodge tricked the Lockes and their friends to believe that Ellie was Dodge,which resulted in throwing her on other side of the Black Door.Whether Ellie is alive or dead is still a mystery to all.
1.Dodge,Lucas And Gabe Are The Same Person
The end of the season was filled with surprises. It was dramatically shown that Dodge,Lucas and Gabe were the same person.Dodge,with the aid of the Identity Key,represented herself in three personalities. She took the form of Gabe to get into the Locke families and be friend with them.It was a mind blowing moment for the audience when they came to know that Gabe was actually Dodge and the Lockes are thinking that they took care of Dodge for good.
Overall,season 1 had an antagonistic ending. Not only because Dodge was still out there but also the same demonic entity is now inside Eden Hawkins.The fans are eagerly waiting for the next season for more mind boggling and spectacular mysteries and adventures.
