iPhone 13 Pro may have a 1TB option, LiDAR in all models & an Always-on display

iPhone 13 and 13 Pro is expected for later this year. According to a new report, it looks like a 1TB storage option could be back on the table.

Back in June analysts at Wedbush, via 9to5mac claimed that all iPhone 13 models will have LiDAR. They also claimed
that the Pro models will include up to 1 TB storage option. Later on, an analysts from TrendForce reported that neither claim is true, limiting the LiDAR to the two Pro models and their storage to 512 GB.

After keeping a close eye at the supply chain in Asia and Wedbush has now reiterated their original claim. So according to them, there will be a 1 TB options for both iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.

This month, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also claimed that iPhone 13 would have Always-on Display like the Apple Watch. Android users have been enjoying this feature for years and it's finally coming to the iPhone.

They are expecting the sales of iPhone 13 generation to match or exceed the current 12 generation. The supply chain is targeting 90-100 million units, compared to 80 million for the current models. That’s around a 15% increase year over year.

Of course targets change, with the chip shortage having a major effect on that. It is still predicted that it will be a profitable year for Apple.
