
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 5 has aired today, building a finale plot for next Friday. With John Walker going alone, and Bucky and Sam teaming together, alongside threats of the Flag Smashers, the episode sets up the finale for the action-packed series.

The Story-view
After the surprise end in Episode 4, which John Walker killing a Flag Smasher in public, he now regrets as he rethinks the advice of Lemar. Sam and Bucky confront him and fight for the shield where Walker ends up destroying Sam's suit. Walker is seen in the court, stripped off the title of Captain America as well as his military honor. But a lady named Val comes to Walker, proposing a hand to join something bigger. The identity is still unknown but it will hold a greater role in MCU. In the meantime, Bucky finds escaped Zemo in Sokovia memorial, where Zemo discloses that he does not have any grudges on Bucky anymore. The Dora Milaje appear later and take their antagonist to their land for bringing him to justice. Sam goes to Isaiah Bradley in search for answers of what happened to him. After a lot of wholesome moments and family reunions, Sam and Bucky term themselves to be co-workers and promises to catch up again. Sam keeps training with the shield to live up to the legacy. Sharon Carter talks with Batroc who later on meets with the Flag Smashers, which further proves Sharon is somehow connected to The Power Broker.

Ending
In New York, a international level conference regarding the GRC votes is taking place. During that moment, the associates of the Flag Smashers infiltrate the place and gets ready for a bigger attack. Sam gets to know where they will attack and is on the way (thanks to Torres). Batroc helped supply them a few weapons, which could be ordered by Sharon Carter as we see earlier her talking with him. This will lead to the finale of the series next Friday.
We also get our first mid-credits scene for the series. The extra scene shows us Walker trying to build a Captain America shield with scraps of metal, trying to be a Captain America he wants himself to be. But as he has been stripped off his title, he could come up with a new one, possibly U.S Agent.

Final Verdict
So far, Episode 5 is by far one of the best episode vising to the depth of the best elements of the series - John Walker, Isaiah Bradley, Sharon Carter etc. Flag Smashers are spread everywhere, trying to fulfill their goal of "One world, one people". Wyatt Russell's acting is on point which leads to fans on hating the character. The acting on the episode has been marvelous for the actors alongside the actions and cinematography. The episode led fans to some very hard-hitting moments for certain characters side by side wholesome Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes moments. The way how Zemo is set up for future projects of MCU in Wakanda is worth every praise. The character driven episode sets the stage for finale of the series with this game changer episode.
