The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is almost at the end of the season with two more episodes yet to air. With lots of things going on in the show, it isn't obvious how the show will end. But as usual, fans have been given a tease for the upcoming episodes with the appearance of a major character of MCU.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Wyatt Russell was asked if he and Chris Evans ever met together, considering it worthy of a great meme to break the internet.
Russell teased that he only have "walked passed him and made eye contact," and fans have to "wait till the end of the series" for a probable meeting.
Have I ever met Chris Evans? I think I have. I don't think I have 'shook his hand' met him, but I think I have walked by him somewhere and like made eye contact. That counts as like being a stalker, that doesn't count as meeting anybody. But, I guess it would. You just got to wait till the end of the series and then everybody will be like, 'Oh, wow.'
It is to be noted that Wyatt Russell quotes were very coy for being the confirmation of Chris Evans' appearance. We do know how Paul Bettany trolled us by promising a huge cameo in WandaVision which was later revealed to be himself. Considering how Marvel Studios get their stars to play coy with such big teases, Wyatt Russell could also be doing the same, or he must have spoiled a little bit out of excitement.
It was previously stated that there will be a cameo in Episode 5, but isn't confirmed. But even if it is Chris Evans' Steve Rogers, it could be a five-minute farewell, or the funeral as we last saw him quite old.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 5 will premiere this Friday, April 16, 2021, only on Disney+.
