The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Theory: Sharon Carter is the Power Broker?

SPOILERS WARNING! STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE THIRD EPISODE!

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 3 has aired last Friday with the appearance of Sharon Carter in the show. She was last seen in Captain America: Civil War with our Steve Rogers. But this time, her appearance in the show doesn't give a good vibe. Something is strange with her. And I believe she is a major character for the show, not just for being Sharon Carter, but actually for being The Power Broker.

Sharon Carter has been seen acting pretty weirdly throughout the episode. When Bucky, Sam and Zemo went to the bar to talk with Selby, a hooded figure avoided them and went away. This hooded figure was later on revealed to be Sharon Carter when she saved them from the bounty hunters. But why will she avoid such familiar faces?

Sharon Carter is seen to have major grudges against the Avengers for not trying to help her after the events of Civil War. She has been laying low all this time in Madripoor but there were no contacts of her with the Avengers or even Steve Rogers. She said, "I didn't have the Avengers to back me up. So I'm off the grid in Madripoor." Also in the next shot, she seems to act against Sam and Bucky and she also says, "This isn't over." She is blaming Sam and Bucky for her condition at this moment and she scowled at them for wanting her help, as last time. She was later on seen having the same tone of speech while she said to Sam, "Look, you know the whole hero thing is a joke, right? The way you gave up that shield, deep down, you must know it's all hypocrisy."

Remember in the end-credits, there is a shot where it is written, "Power Broker is watching", it was again revealed in a scene when the trio was searching for the bar. After that event, Selby was killed and Sharon appeared to save them.

The Power Broker is watching. What does it mean? Is he/she spying on Sam and Bucky? It could be. Sharon Carter avoided them and went away form the bar and was later on seen in a building from where she shot the bounty hunters. She took her position as if she knew Bucky and Sam will somehow kill Selby and will take this lane. Sharon was waiting for the oppurtunity to take the shot and reveal herself in front of them. It could be her major plan she was brewing all this time she tried to lay low. She had been watching them all that time. Also if you notice, the place Sharon took them to, was quite full of luxury. How would have she earned this much by trying to lay low that too in Madripoor? Sam asks, "Looks like breaking all those laws is treating you well." Sharon replies, "I thought if I had to hustle, might as well enjoy the life of a real hustler." Hustler, like the Power Broker?

After the fights in the docks, Sam, Bucky wanted Sharon to come with them to U.S. But Sharon rejects and leaves them to go to her own car with a woman. She says to the woman, "We've got a big problem. Actually, a couple of them. I'll tell you in the car. Let's go." Killing Dr. Nagel, the one who was the pioneer of creating the super-soldier serum in this age, will create big problems for Power Broker as it was later on disclosed by Karli Morgenthau that they have the last of the serums and the Power Broker will come begging to them. This could be the problem Sharon told the woman, and she would have to rethink on chasing after the Flag-Smashers to get them.

Yes, Sharon Carter is the Power Broker, she has to be. All these details raise the fingers to her only. Or, she could be working for the Power Broker, taking out situations by the orders. But why will she have such guarded high town property and such luxury that too while laying low? According to Zemo, Power Broker is the judge, jury and executioner in Madripoor and Zemo knows him only by the reputation. So, the Power Broker doesn't reveal himself/herself in front of people, so the thoughts of gender may vary.

Power Broker has been hinted to appear in the show since the very beginning of the show. The easter eggs and details all may declare that the Power Broker is in front of our eyes all this time, but who would knew the great-niece of Peggy Carter would be the one.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is streaming on Disney+ with three episode yet to air. Why Sharon is acting like this and is she up to something? Only time will tell. What are your thoughts on episode 3? Comment down below and let us know!
