The Story-view

The episode starts with the most unexpected move, Bucky helping Zemo in escaping his prison. Teaming up with Zemo, Bucky and Sam follow him in search of the source of Super-soldier serums to one of the most famous fictional city in Marvel Comics, Madripoor. There, they find Sharon Carter, laying low after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Throughout the episode, there have been a lot of mentions of the Power Broker. And it seems the Power Broker has a higher connection with the re-invent of the Super-soldier serums. While John Walker and his partner searches for leads on Karli Morgenthau, she is getting more ruthless day by day and her partners seems to get uncomfortable of her activities. The episode renders a thriller with explosions, gun-fights and brutal hand-to-hand combat.

Ending

In Riga, Latvia, Zemo leads Sam and Bucky to a place but Bucky notes a small sphere, similar to Wakandan tech. Following the trail, he finds a familiar face from Wakanda. Ayo, a member of the Dora Milaje, Wakanda's all female special forces group, says in Wakandan, "I'm here for Zemo." It seems Wakandans have not forgiven Zemo for plotting the death of King T'Chaka. This was not at all expected by the fans and this reveal shocked the majority. This may be the first look of how Marvel may continue the story of Wakanda after the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, our King T'Challa.

Final Verdict

With the episode set in Madripoor, Marvel Cinematic Universe is going into the comic book counterpart of the city with similar criminals and crimes. Introduction of Emily VanCamp's Sharon Carter after a lot of years can make her a great asset for upcoming MCU projects. Sharon Carter tough as nails in hand-to-hand combat alongside Daniel Brühl's amazing acting as Zemo, this episode puts action, character development, and plot deepening, all together.
