The Falcon and the Winter Soldier show will connect to at least 3 Future Projects

The anticipation of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now at its peak and its getting further amplified by the recent releases of trailer, clips and TV Spots. The show will take on the legacy of Captain America, uniting Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in an action-packed adventure within six confirmed episodes.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, show director Kari Skogland, on defining what a hero is, compared Sam Wilson to the attributes.

Traditionally, a hero has been painted as being a warrior or a soldier of some kind, and now a hero embraces a whole other layer of responsible citizen, which is first responder, and more so than ever in our today's international story. Frontline first responders, which is also what Sam is, become very much an integrated part of our exploration of what is a hero.

Head Writer Malcolm Spellman revealed that he's not allowed to talk about the future Project connections with the show but he did mention that there are "three projects" that he is aware of till now.

We have a future charted for characters post-Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I don't want to say much more than that.

Skogland mentioning the definition of a hero and comparing with Sam might mean bright future of Falcon in the MCU. With at least three projects to connect with the show, who knows how the character development may occur and in what way. As we know that it is confirmed that Don Cheadle will appear in upcoming Armor Wars show, it is possible that the future show could be teased in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier plot.

Whatever it is, it can be confirmed that this is just the beginning of the interesting duo of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes and they have a lot of work to do in future of MCU.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere this Friday, March 19, exclusively on Disney+.
