Thor Love and Thunder: The Queen of Asgard is here!

Avengers Endgame final scenes surprised fans as we got to see Thor leaving the throne and handing the title to Valkyrie to lead the New Asgard. Thor joins the Guardians of the Galaxy in their ship while Valkyrie gets to be the new Queen of Asgard.

Thor 4 started its production quite a few weeks ago and we also got leaked pictures of Thor and Star-Lord in their new uniforms, also with Nebula and Kraglin. We also saw a set photo of a mysterious blue figure, which could be the return of Frost Giants. And now a recent post shared on Instagram reveals Valkyrie has arrived on set to be the New Queen of Asgard.

Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) shared a photo on Instagram of her actor's seat revealing that she has started filming for the fourth installment.

Also, a Twitter user named XRealm Matthews shared more of Tessa's Instagram stories of her working out for her role in this movie.

The production started around the end of January. But Tessa's late arrival may mean something more. Her late call to set could mean that her screen-time will be more on highly CGI based scenes which could be scenes from outer space or her journey with Thor to a new adventure. Also, as a queen, we may also get scenes of her in the New Asgard but there have been no more leaks till now. As the Instagram story was shared today, this means there remains a lot of weeks of production to happen which includes Valkyrie.

This is just the beginning. All we can do is wait for the set photos to be leaked so that we can theorize on what might happen and what we will see.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to release in theaters on February 11, 2022.
