Samsung is reportedly working on a smartwatch. But unlike Samsung's most other smartwatches, this one may run Google's Wear OS instead of Samsung's own Tizen OS. Samsung hasn't made an Android smartwatch since the Gear Live in 2014.
According to a reliable tipster, Ice universe, Samsung's next watch will replace Tizen with Android. Back in 2018, Evan Blass reported Samsung employees using Wear OS watches.

But there are consensus that Samsung's Tizen OS is better than their Android counterparts. Although Wear OS is improving now, it's still not as seamless as Tizen OS. So we highly doubt Samsung would replace its successful Tizen OS for Wear OS.
It should be noted that last year, Bloomberg claimed that Google was trying to convince Samsung to drop Bixby and the Samsung App store for Google Assistant and Google Play Store. If that's the case then Samsung is beginning to take the first steps back to Google. Moreover Wear OS is really in need of good hardware so it may be good for developing the relation between these two companies.
