Henry Cavill and the cast are back on set after the production was halted again due to the spread of Coronavirus among the production team and cast. The filming has reportedly started again after the sign of clearance of Coronavirus among the casts and team.
Though the filming has resumed, new lockdown measures in London forced the production to be moved to a controlled studio environment instead of Yorkshire Countryside, London.
The production paused once back in March which came back to normal five months later. This time the halt was nowhere near as long. The Netflix show is still set to release in 2021 and no delays are announced. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich wrote, "We don't yet have a target launch date for season 2, past 2021...We don't want to rush the product."
With such delays and halts in the production, fans started speculating that the Netflix hit's season 2 might get cancelled, but there are no announcements of the news. Upto now, it is confirmed that the production of season 2 will definitely go on and we will get the Witcher Season 2 next year.
