Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 spotted in Google Search app code

Google's 2020 smartphone line up is getting more confusing after each leak, not to mention the fact that the Pixel 4a, the mid ranger has been delayed multiple times this year. Earlier it was rumored that we would get a Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 and 5 XL. Now it seems like we will get a Pixel 4a 5G and we will not be getting a Pixel 5 XL.

Last Friday, 9to5Google found out several device codenames in the recent beta for the Google Search app. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, which were released in October, as well as the Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5 were listed in the code. There was no mention of a Pixel 4A XL or Pixel 5 XL, according to 9to5Google.

Earlier this month a render of Pixel 5 was leaked online. The rendered device looks a lot like the rumored Pixel 4a. The device could actually be Pixel 4a or Pixel 4a XL. Take a look at the render yourself.

Last year, by this time we already had an hands on video of the Pixel 4 and almost knew everything about it. But this year, with every leak we are getting more confused than we were. At this point, it is not possible to get a concrete answer. We just have to wait and see what Google has in stored for us this year.
