Thor Ragnarok is considered to be one of the best movies from Infinity Saga and is also a fan-favorite to many. Comparing with the first and second movie representing Thor, his third movie is completely on a higher level. Thor Ragnarok, directed by Taika Waititi, is full of action and comedy.

10. Defeat of Surtur

At the very beginning of the movie, we see Thor, captive, hanging, bounded by chain at a place in front of Surtur, the Fire Giant. But Thor managed to defeat Surtur using his powers through Mjolnir and managed to escape through Bifrost. Thor took the helm of Surtur after defeating him and also fought against a whole army of Surtur. The lightning fight of Thor really made this scene awesome.

9. Loki disguised as Odin

In Thor: The Dark World, fans see Loki die for the second time. But, Loki was not dead but was actually faking his own death yet again. In Thor Ragnarok, Thor goes to Asgard and sees a theater acting which represented the death of Loki as a hero and carried the exact opposite feeling of the actual scene. Thor understood that it was not Odin who was letting Asgardians perform this act but it's actually Loki. To prove this, Thor used his hammer, Mjolnir, so that he could threat him and get him out of this disguise, Eventually, it was found out that Loki had not died but was actually disguised as Odin and he left their father, Odin, in an old age home. The sudden appearance of Loki in disguise of Odin is what brings this scene in the top 10 of this list.

8. Hulk attacking Surtur

Thor understanding he would never be able to defeat Hela, her elder sister, Goddess of Death, told Loki to resurrect Surtur through the Eternal Flame. But we know how Hulk is. Thinking Surtur as their enemy, Hulk rushed to attack the Fire Giant. The amazing thing about this scene is that even a Fire Giant can not make Hulk fear. Rather without any doubt, the enraged Hulk attacked Surtur. But then Thor told him not to attack Surtur as it is his part of the plan.

7. Destruction of Mjolnir

After a few moments of Odin's death, Hela made an appearance in front of Thor and Loki. Being warned by Odin about his first born, Thor threw his hammer towards Hela as she commanded them to kneel before her. But as Hela is also capable of lifting the Mjolnir, she stopped it and crushed into pieces. The surprising looks on Thor and Loki's face and the terrifying way of Hela saying "Darling, you have no idea what's possible" made this scene fearful, dangerous as well as surprising to fans.

6. Double betrayal

At the time of staying at Sakaar, Thor escaped and a news spread of a prize money for the person who would get Thor within time. Loki tried to get the trust of Grandmaster and so at a point, he betrayed Thor and gave a signal that Thor has been seen. But the fun fact was that Thor already knows Loki and he has been betrayed a lot by him. So, Thor was cautious this time and already fixed a small object behind Loki. When he found out Loki betrayed him, Thor brought out the remote and electrocuted him. He told him that he already betrayed him a lot and it has become a normal thing for him to do, so this time he was prepared. So, Thor left Loki in that alley, electrocuted, but Loki was later on saved by Korg.

5. Hela fighting a whole Asgardian Army

One of the best things was to see Hela in Asgard fighting against a whole Asgard army and defeating all the expert soldiers single-handedly. It was previously known as Hela would get more power if she stays in Asgard and this power will grow even further. The way she killed all the experienced top soldiers of Asgard unassisted was truly marvelous and satisfying to watch.

4. Hulk vs Fenris Wolf

During the final battle, one of the best things to watch for the fans was to see the rage of the Hulk. Hulk was one of the most important characters in the whole Thor Ragnarok movie. Bruce Banner jumped on the Bifrost bridge to save the Asgard people from the ferocious Fenris Wolf. But he was unable to get hulked out and fell on the bridge. The moment Fenris Wolf was going to attack innocent Asgardians, Hulk came out and grabbed Fenris Wolf. Hulk was seen fighting it madly and at a moment fans saw Fenris fall from a waterfall getting punched by Hulk. Considering everything, this scene deserves to be in the top order of the list.

3. Hela vs Surtur

Hela would grow stronger and stronger staying in Asgard and even the God of Thunder can't stop her. The only thing that could stop her was Surtur. Earlier in the movie, Surtur fell on the hands of Thor and got its helm. So, Thor told Loki to get the helm of Surtur to the Eternal Flame so that Surtur can be reborn. Hela fought hard but it was not enough. The Fire Giant was stronger and even an overpowered Hela couldn't stop him. As a result, Surtur destroyed Asgard along with Hela. Within the time, the Asgardians along with Thor, Loki, Hulk and Valkyrie escaped the destruction so that their species remain safe from the extinction.

2. Thor fights the Incredible Hulk

On number 2, we have the sudden appearance of Hulk after Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as the fight between Thor and Hulk. Thor was taken as a fighter and he challenged the best fighter to win the match and go away from Sakaar. But it was found out that the best fighter of Grandmaster was The Incredible Hulk. But Hulk couldn't recognize Thor and was committed to win the match. We could also see a similar fight of Hulk thrashing Thor like we saw in The Avengers movie where Hulk thrashed Loki in Stark Tower. Being punched repeatedly, Thor got a vision of his father Odin and a hidden power awoke within Thor as he punched Hulk with lightning and thunder. We also saw the the thunderous clash between Thor and Hulk not long after. But the Grandmaster cheated and electrocuted Thor so that his greatest fighter, The Incredible Hulk stays undefeated. This fight awakened the hidden power of Thor which was necessary in the final battle in the movie and also proved that he doesn't need his hammer to show his power, rather the hammer was to concentrate on his power and execute it, the hammer was not the source of his power.

1. Thor unleashes his true power

Obviously the best scene was the awakening of Thor's powers while fighting Hela and this deserves to be in number 1. Thor while fighting Hela lost his eye and Hela was easily defeating him. At one point, Hela says "You see, I am not a Queen, or a Monster. I am the Goddess of Death. What were you the God of again?" During this scene, Thor had multiple visions of Odin and finally had a small talk. Thor says that he would never be able to defeat her without his hammer. At this, Odin said, "That hammer was to help you control your power, to focus it. It was never your source of strength."He also said that Asgard had never been a place, it rather is where its people stand. Thor then said that he was not as strong as you(Odin). Odin replied proudly, "No, you are stronger". As a result, Thor's hiddden power awoke and he hit Hela with the biggest lightnining in the history of lightning. Next, we see Thor jumping towards the undead army of Hela and causing heavy damage to everything near it. The punches and the uses of lightning through it was equally great and the use of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant song was perfect for the adrenaline of this scene. This scene still gives goosebumps to most Marvel fans and is truly one of the best scenes in Thor Ragnarok as well as in all movies of Infinity Saga.
