The Witcher Season 2: Production halts, again

 

The filming of the second season of Netflix's The Witcher pauses again due to the spread of Coronavirus on set. According to Deadline, the affected are not anyone from the lead cast and they have been kept isolated.
 
This is the second time the production for the second season of The Witcher has been haulted due to the pandemic. The production was first halted back in March for a few weeks, but later on, a cast member being tested positive and the increasing Coronavirus outbreak led to extending the halt for several months. Production was supposed to resume in August, but set photos revealed that the production had resumed ahead of schedule
 
The Witcher Season 2 was supposed to release anytime in 2021. But release date was likely to postpone due to the halt of several months. With the early resume of the filming, production team was hoping to finish its filming in time but yet another halt will lead to delaying the release date again. Let's hope that the members of the cast and the production team stays safe and take their time to get their best shots for the series so that the next season is worth the wait.
