A member of A-force and Young Avengers is rumored for Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse currently the most awaited Marvel movie in Phase 4. With cast like Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen and directed by Sam Raimi, the sequel of Doctor Strange will definitely create a big twist in Marvel Cinematic Universe. But a recent rumor (via The Direct) reveals that a member of A-force and The Young Avengers could be introduced in this movie.

The rumor is still unconfirmed by Marvel Studios but it is claimed that the studio is searching Puerto Rican actresses aged 12-15 years to play Miss America in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

We already know that Scarlet Witch will play a vital role in the movie and the movie may have important connections with Disney+ WandaVision. As we are talking of a movie related with Multiverse, there could be chances of introduction of heroes from other universe and also a new Quicksilver who can appear earlier in the WandaVision series. So, introduction of Miss America can possibly occur in this fan anticipated movie.

 

In Marvel Comics, America Chavez aka MIss America is a super powerful teenage hero with abilities like flight, near invulnerability and ability to create star portals. Miss America is aged around 18 in the comics but as it is claimed the studios are searching for an actress within 12-15 age range, this might mean the introduction of a younger Miss America and gradually taking her to a greater role or most likely her own solo movie somewhere near phase 5 or 6.

Taking her age range into consideration, she can possible play a great role in The Young Avengers team of MCU (if introduced) alongside the likes of Kate Bishop, Hulkling, Kid Loki, Speed and Wiccan etc. We also noticed a short scene of A-force in the final battle during Avengers Endgame which could possibly indicate a future A-force movie starring all the female superheroes into an Avengers level threat situation. 

The plot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse is still unknown to us. But considering the title of the sequel, it can be said that a new level of cosmic threat and plot will be made taking Multiverse into it which will lead to infinite possibilities of unthinkable situations. The story could seemingly go anywhere but we will have to wait to see if Miss America will make her appearance in the movie or not.

Doctor Strange in the Mutiverse, directed by Sam Raimi, is currently expected to hit the theaters on March 25th, 2022.
