Pixel Notepad, Google's foldable phone is rumored to cost significantly less than Galaxy Z Fold3


We have been hearing rumors of a foldable Google Pixel for a long time now. It has been recently reported that the device will be called the Pixel Notepad and it seems like the tech giant plans to have it out by the end of 2022.

Camera:
 
As expected, the Pixel Notebook will use the its own Tensor chip. The device will opt for an inferior camera selection. 12.2MP IMX363 sensor will be used in the main camera. It is reported that they initially wanted to use 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor from the Pixel 6 series. But due to its thickness they decided to go with the 12.2MP sensor that they have used till Pixel 5.

There will also be 12MP IMX386 ultrawide sensor. There are reportedly two selfie camera. Both using 8MP IMX355s sensor.  One of the two sensors will probably be used on the outer screen and other one on the inner one.  

Price tag & Release Date:
 
According to 9to5Google, Google is reportedly planning to sell it at $1,400, which is $400 less than Galaxy Z Fold3. The device is also reported to come out by the end of 2022.
