Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's long-awaited Black Adam solo movie will be added in the DC Universe next year. The anti-hero will be played by none other than Johnson who is one of the biggest movie star in industry, and the production is said to have been started previously.
While there have been no news on Black Adam's connections with the Shazam! franchise, but latest updates and leaks give fans closer and clearer looks of Johnson's anti-hero Black Adam.
Dwayne Johnson shared an image of himself on Instagram in a black hooded robe from the set of the movie. The costume does hint to the iconic black-golden pattern of Black Adam from comics.
The robe covers almost everything except his boots which seems to be golden even in the black and white format of the image. In DC Comics, Black Adam dons the robed attire, precisely in DC's New 52 era.

The reason behind using this black cloak is still unknown. This could be in play just to hide Johnson's costume for now or this wardrobe could be brought in to potentially tie into Shazam! franchise's Shazam who also dons a white cloak in the Shazam! movie.
Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, is set to premiere on July 29, 2022 in theaters.
