Apple AirPods Max: What you need to know?

Apple out of nowhere announced their first ever over ear headphones, AirPods Max. So here is everything you need to know about the device.

Sound Quality

We haven’t gotten a chance to hear AirPods Max yet. The Cupertino Giant says they have modeled the drivers in the headphones after the ones found in high-end floor standing speakers to offer extreme accuracy every time you listen, which is Apple's way of saying dynamic driver. AirPods Max support active noise cancellation, spatial audio and transparency mode.

AirPods Max do supports “adaptive EQ,” which optimizes sound by analyzing what you’re listening to and adjusting the frequencies accordingly. The headphones have their own H1 chip which helps the device to seamlessly switch between Apple devices. AirPods Max can pause your music if they sense you’ve taken them off your head.

Battery

Apple says the AirPods Max get up to 20 hours of music playback, movie payback, or talk-time per charge. But sadly it charges via Apple’s Lightning connector, so no USB-C. Also like the iPhones this year it doesn't come with a charging brick in the box. You can get 1.5 hours of listening time off a five minute quick-charge.
