ROG Phone 3 is the Ultimate Gaming phone

Asus just launched their new ROG phone 3 and claimed it to be the worlds most powerful gaming phone in the world. This phone comes with ultimate specs a gamer can imagine.

Specs:

The ROG phone 3 is a massive upgrade from its younger brother the ROG phone 2. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 plus which is the fastest processor in the market right now with a clockspeed of up to 3.1 GHz. It also has the following features:                             

• 144Hz Amoled display
• 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM
• 256/512 GB ROM
• 6000 mAh battery
• supports 5G connetivity

The ROG phone 3 is the first gaming phone to come with a 144HZ screen. The ROG phone 2 had a 120HZ screen and maybe people won't notice the difference between 120 and 144hz. It has  the same battery as the ROG phone 2 but has 16GB of ram which is more than most people's gaming PC. It has one drawback though, Asus has removed the headphone jack of the phone which maybe a problem for those who can not carry the included Dongle. 

Design

The design aesthetic of the phone is a little simpler then the previous generation and includes a transparent panel over the heatsink. It still has the ROG logo at the back which is fully customizable. Though most people won't buy this phone for the camera but it is mentionable that it features a 64 megapixel main camera followed by a 13 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera.

Price and Availability

Overall the ROG phone 3 is a great gaming phone by Asus. The 16GB ram and 512GB ROM version will be available for $1300. The 12GB ram and 512GB ROM version will be available for $1150 and the Strix edition with 8GB ram and 256GB ROM will be available for $950.
