Hailee Steinfeld to play Kate Bishop in Hawkeye Disney+ show


A lot of rumors and comments revealed Hailee Stenfeld as Kate Bishop but a recent report confirms that Haile Stenfeld will join the cast of Disney+ Hawkeye series as Kate Bishop, the protégé of Hawkeye.

According to The Illuminerdi, Steinfeld will play as Kate Bishop who will be trained by Clint Barton played by Jeremy Renner in order to become the next Hawkeye. There have been many ups and downs for the role of Kate Bishop and a lot of news confused the Marvel fans thinking who would play the character. But now, it seems official that Hailee Steinfeld will carry the mantle of Hawkeye from this series.




In the early moments of Avengers Endgame, we saw Clint training his girl on shooting arrows which confirms the character already been training to successfully train her into the next Hawkeye. But now, the Hawkeye series will fully reveal the stories of mentoring Kate Bishop and action-packed adventures with Hawkeye.



In Marvel Comics, Kate Bishop is also a member of the Young Avengers. So, introduction of Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may also prove to gradually introduce all other young avengers and possibly a Young Avengers movie later on. Click here to learn more about the Young Avengers.

Presently, the release date of Hawkeye is still undisclosed. The recent Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the production of a few Marvel projects and also many other movies. The release dates were postponed from a month to a year for different movies. Disney+ Hawkeye series production is hoping to start again this October. So, this six-episode series may also face a few delays. Hawkeye is currently on target for a late 2021 release on Disney+.
