After the official unveiling at DC FanDome, it seems that the solo film for the speedster will finally see daylight. After a lot of changes and going through various directors, the production was set to start and now it has been confirmed that the production has finally begun.
Recent report from Deadline confirmed that the filming is currently on the way with production taking place in London. Producer Barbara Muschietti's production company Double Dream will supervise the filming alongside director Andy Muschietti.
The siblings have worked together on many projects along with record breaking box office hits IT and IT: Chapter Two. The confirmation that the filming has begun is a huge relief for the fans as it assures that they will finally get the theater release of their favorite speedster.
Till now, it has been confirmed that the film will see the return of Michael Keaton as Batman alongside Ben Affleck reprising his role. Sasha Calle is also set to join the cast as the new Supergirl. The plot is still unknown but Michael Keaton reprising his role will surely set up Ezra Miller's Flash meeting Batman from parallel dimensions.
The Flash will hit the theaters on November 4, 2022.
