The Story-view

A multilayered character of John Walker introduced in the show, wielding the Captain America shield, the new Star-Spangled man with a plan. Constantly wanting to recruit Sam and Bucky as his wing-men, finally he resides on not wanting them and telling them to stay out of his way. Till now, 9 Super Soldiers have been revealed in the show. Among which 8 are in the Flag Smashers and 1 Black Super-Soldier, Isaiah Bradley. The theories of the presence of the The Power Broker has further been solidified as we see his men chasing down the Flag Smashers. Detailed shots were shown of Karli Morgenthau, which brings up questions in mind, who could this actually girl be?

Ending

The episode ends with both Bucky and Sam agreeing to dig up HYDRA secrets, having a talk with Baron Zemo. Zemo hasn't been shown in the show so far but we do get a shot of him in the cell he is in. Even in prison, he looks like he's hatching an evil plan. Last time we saw Zemo, was in Captain America: Civil War, when he reactivated the programming of Bucky and used him to break Avengers apart. After his plan was fulfilled, he decided to kill himself but was eventually stopped by Black Panther. What will he be up to this time? One thing is for sure, we will get scenes of Zemo and the duo working together, possibly on having a same goal.

Final Verdict

With John Walker's development and the continuous arguments between Sam and Bucky, the episode is packed with character observations and discovering new grounds. Wyatt Russell is already shaping up to be one of the most interesting additions of MCU, not being a one-note villain nor a full-proof hero. The country not in support of Sam and Bucky and our heroes reluctantly working together, the show gets deeper into the governmental possession over heroes which got its roots from Captain America: Civil War, keeping it at the best of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
