Kevin Feige calls Chloé Zhao's pitch for Marvel's 'Eternals' the best he's ever heard

The Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe promises to introduce a new cosmic superhuman race known as Eternals. Even though Eternals have a stunning cast, most of the general audience aren't familiar with these comic book characters. But considering how The Guardians of the Galaxy became a household name overnight, it's not impossible for Eternals' to do the same. Eternals' has a lot of top tier actors which includes Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani, and many more.

Just after Chloé Zhao's directorial debut with 'The Rider', Marvel Studios' hired her for the project. Rolling Stone did a profile piece about Chloé Zhao, where Kevin Feige praised Zhao's ability to create small scale, personal movies and think in "gigantic terms" that fit with what Marvel does. He said that the film is a "very big, sweeping, multimillennial-spanning story." He even said that the outlet that her pitch for Eternals was incredible. A Rolling Stone didn't share the direct quote from Feige but Rolling Stone says he called "Zhao’s pitch for the movie the best he’d ever heard."

Considering Feigie has worked with some of the biggest directors in the industry like The Russo Brothers, James Gun, Taika Waititi and many more,  perhaps 'Eternals' could become one of the best movies in the MCU. Hopefully Eternals' delivers on the promise of Zhao's pitch.
