iMessage in Android, Windows and Linux

Apple is known for having a closed ecosystem and many of its apps aren't even officially available in other places. iMessage is an Apple-only service which solely works on Apple’s own devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs. However, with Beeper, Migicovski states that you will be able to access iMessage on your Android, Windows, or Linux devices “using some trickery”.

In FAQ section, the team stated that it “was a tough one to figure” but they discovered a way to use iMessage in Android and Windows. For that a user needs to install the Beeper Mac app on a Mac device. The device should always be connected to the internet. The Mac acts as a bridge for Beeper to run iMessage on literally any platform.

But if you do not have a Mac which can be connected to a network at all times, then the company will send you a jailbroken iPhone. The device will come with the Beeper app installed. So, it will work as the bridge. Migicovski additionally confirmed in a comment that this initiative is actually real. This means you will not only get iMessage support on more platforms but an older-gen iPhone as well.

Price

Beeper is actually a subscription-based platform with a monthly subscription fee of $10. As of now,  we aren't sure if this price includes the jailbroken iPhone or not. You can check out the official website of Beeper here
