Google is testing a feature that can help users compare two similar apps

The Google Play Store has millions of apps, covering a variety of categories. There are many apps in the Google Play Store serving the same purpose but in different ways. Google seems to be working on a feature that can help the users easily distinguish between the apps.

Recently Android Police spotted a new section in the Play Store version 22.4.28. This section can be found just below the “Similar Apps” section. For now the section seems to be limited to media player apps.

It will save a lot of time as the user won't have to download the app first to see if it really meets the need.

We hope when this feature is available to all, it works for different apps, not just video players.
