Recent leak suggests Google is working on a foldable Pixel device

After Samsung's, Huawei's and Microsoft's attempt at making foldable smartphones, Google is getting ready to release it's own foldable Android device.

An internal leaked document suggests that Google has been working on foldable Pixel device. The document details every Pixel phone since the Pixel 2 and also includes four unannounced ones. They are code named Barbette, Raven, Oriole and Passport.

Barbette is possibly the rumored Pixel 5a so far they have officially confirmed the 5 and 4a 5G. The Raven and Oriole are probably the Pixel 6 and 6 XL or 5G or whatever Google decides to call it. Almost all of the Google phones had code names based on fish species, but the last code name is a bit hard to crack. The Passport is rumored to be the foldable one.

Google announced native support for foldable Android devices in November 2018, ahead of Samsung’s initial unveiling of the original Galaxy Fold and now Google is gearing up to release their own foldable. It will be interesting to see what Google comes up with. The foldable Pixel and the two Pixel 6 models are scheduled to launch later 2021.
