OnePlus launched its latest mid-range smartphone the OnePlus Nord earlier this month. The phone already got a ton of great review. But the phone is currently being sold only in some countries of Asia and Europe.
However, it appears that fans in the US won’t be left behind. OnePlus Nord is not just a single phone rather an entire lineup of phones. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has assured that a OnePlus Nord-branded phone will be available in the US stores later this year.
Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus and the current director of OnePlus, reportedly told Wired that a Nord-branded phone (not necessarily the one that launched as the OnePlus Nord) would be coming to the US later this year.
Before the release of the phone, OnePlus nicely hyped it up by creating dedicated accounts for it. There’s also a dedicated OnePlus Nord Series page on the official OnePlus website. So it suggests, OnePlus has more planned for this lineup of devices. They claimed that they were going back to their roots, what made OnePlus famous in the first place. It definitely doesn't sound like OnePlus would stop after only releasing one device. They will be experimenting with the first one in the US, if it performs well in the market, OnePlus will definitely continue the lineup and maybe even expand it.
Unfortunately, as of right now we don’t have any information of the upcoming OnePlus Nord series smartphone headed to the US market. We just have to wait and see.
