Apple is apparently rumored to follow the iPhone SE 2 strategy and make the new iPad Air more affordable and capable. It seems like the new iPad Air will get rid of the lightning port and rock USB-C instead. It is also rumored that the device will support Apple's magic keyboard.
The new 10.8 inch iPad Air will possibly come with Apple's A13 chipset, the same chip that powers the $400 iPhone SE (2020), though there are some conflicting reports on this.
The iPad Air (2019) uses the A12 chipset and starts at $500 for the 64 GB model. The vanilla iPad 10.2 with A10 chipset now starts for $330. So, the new iPad Air price tag could fall somewhere between those two.
Reliable Apple Analyst, Ming-chi Kuo said we can expect the device next year. He also said the device would come with a 20 Watt charger in the box.
