'Floating Cinema' is the new source of social distancing-friendly entertainment

Yes you read the title right, "Floating Cinemas" are a thing now. Now, you can social distance while watching a film from the sweet comfort of your own mini boat.

The pandemic has done a lot of damage to many industries including the movie industry. Many movies have been rescheduled or put to hold. It has also forced the people to come up with creative ways to entertain and keep the industry alive.

An Australian-based theater company Beyond Cinema has announced a boat-in "Floating Cinema" at select U.S. cities, including Houston and Austin, Texas. Floating Cinema has already begun in Paris.

These Floating Cinemas will include 12 to 24 mini boats that will provide a unique, socially distanced entertainment experience. The movie goers will have to book a mini boat that can contain upto 8 people and they will only allow close friends and family members to get in the same boat. For movie lovers, the screenings will be a mix of new releases and classic films.

The concept of "floating cinemas" has people excited for a new breed of open-air, social-distancing entertainment. It really sounds like a new creative idea and we hope to see it expand and come to other places of the world.
