Marvel's Daredevil is considered to be the best live action Marvel series in Netflix. The main character of the series Matt Murdock played by Charlie Cox and the other characters have given us a lot of intense and interesting fight scenes in the series. 10. Matt Vs Nobu ( Season 1)
Countering Nobu was Matt's one of the worst fight, were he was almost beaten to death. Wilson Fisk killed one of Matt's client, Elena, a poor Spanish women, to lure Matt in one of Fisk's secret place. Fisk outsmarted him. Matt did take the bait and found Nobu instead of Fisk. What occurs next is one of the most daring fight of season 1.
Both of them landed blow after blow, but Nobu took the advantage with his Kyoketsu Shoge. Matt took most of the damage and starts to weaken. Just when Nobu was preparing to deliver the final blow, Matt creates friction with a little amount of spilled oil and Nobu catches on fire.That was the end of Nobu but the next moment Fisk enters the frame with two of his goons. Matt somehow manages to escape by jumping from the window just as James Wesley was about to shoot him. Later in season 2 we saw that Nobu actually didn't die.
9. The Rooftop Fight (Season 2)
Daredevil and Elektra vs Nobu and the Hand. What are the odds of the good guys to win? The final fight of the second season proceeds to intense action.
Matt and Elektra throws punches right and left as they fight for their own lives against the Hand. Nobu came back from death itself. Matt loses his scuffle with Nobu and just as he's about to feel his opponent's blade, Elektra takes the killing blow leaving a grieving Matt. Matt faced Nobu to finish him for good. Just then Frank Castle(punisher) appears and shoots rest of the Hand army. Matt throws Nobu of the roof with his specially designed baton. All of us thought Nobu was gone for good but he survived and Stick took care of him by decapitating him.
8. Daredevil Vs. Wilson Fisk (Season 1)
All of the drama of season 1 led to the final showdown between Matt and Fisk. Matt; for the first time wears his Daredevil suit where he looked much more intimidating than we have seen him in black masked suit.
Fisk was on his runaway when Matt catches him in the process. Fisk immediately runs away from him but Matt is too fast for him. Next what transpired was one of the best fight of the season. Fisk takes down Matt with his brute force. It seemed Fisk was overpowering him. But very soon Matt regains his strength and knocks down Fisk for good. Shortly after the fight, Brett Mahoney enters the scene and confirmed the arrest of Fisk.
7. Terror In The Church (Season 3)
Karen confessed to Fisk that she was the one who shoot his friend James Wesley. So, Fisk's men were looking for Karen to take revenge on her. She goes into hiding in the St. Patrick's Cathedral Church on permission of Maggie(Matt's mother). But she was spotted by Fisk's men. Fisk ordered Poindexter to take care of her.
Dex presents himself wearing Daredevil's suit . Matt Murdock is there too. Then what we see is a very impressive fight in a Hellish crimson light that gave us the vibe of Hell. both of them delivers blow after blow, Dex looking for his opportunity to finish Karen and Matt giving his best to stop him from murdering her. Matt failed to stop the false Daredevil but Karen was there so she hits Dex hard with a stick and he takes a fall to the floor far below. Before Matt could get to him Dex escapes from the scene. Unfortunately, father Lantom did not make it alive from this clash.
6. The Tragedy In Bulletin (Season 3)
Fisk's manipulative skills gets the hold of Dex. Fisk sends him in the Bulletin wearing Daredevil's costume to kill a guy named Jasper Evans who had all the information to send Fisk back to jail.
Dex invades the Bulletin and creates a havoc in the office. Dex was already a terrific villain. When he shoes up wearing Daredevil's suit he's unstoppable. This was the first hero vs. villain fight in the season. Dex can turn any throwing object into a lethal weapon.Just when Matt thinks of attacking Dex starts throwing objects. So, Matt had to fight defensively. Eventually Matt does get hold of him at a point, but Dex stabs his left shoulder with a scissor and escapes from the scene after shooting Jasper Evans in the head.
5. The Hallway Fight (Season 1)
The Russian gang kidnaps a kid and a sets up a bait for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Matt Murdock takes the bait. He pushes past his injuries and took all of the thugs with his strength, skills and stamina. The fight takes place in a single corridor as Matt gains on gangsters over and over again. The bad guys goes down and regain their ground again. Matt never gave up till the battle was won. All of the thugs were down and Matt walks away with the child in his arms.
The whole scenario was taken in a single shoot. This scene was so successful, that it became one of the most gossiped moments of the season. The fight was so convincing that we couldn't look away from the screen for a second before it ended.
4. Frank Castle's Prison Brawl (Season 2)
Frank Castle end up in prison under a death sentence. Wilson Fisk was in the prison at the same time. He reaches up to Frank and told him that Dutton of Cell Block A knew about the murdering of his family. Subsequently, Fisk's corrupted policemen takes him to Cell Block A and he faces Dutton. He stabs Dutton and when he desired to come out of the cell, Fisk's men instead of opening Frank's exit, opens the door of other cells that were of Dutton's men.
The fight that out broke can be described as one of the most ruthless and merciless scene of the series. He proves how appropriate the name Punisher is suited to him. The battle ends with eight dead guys in orange and a bloodied Punisher in white.
3. The Stairway Fight (Season 2)
The Punisher chained Matt on a chimney of a roof. The Punisher provoked the Dogs of Hell Biker gangs by blasting their bikes. The gang members starts to climb up the stairs and Matt had to take them down.
Like the hallway fight of season 1, this fight was also taken place in a hallway. The only difference was that he had an empty gun duct taped on his right hand and a chain attached on his left hand. The battle quickly shifts to a stairwell. Matt fights his way down the stairs by whipping the Dogs of Hell Biker gang with his chain and punching them with his gun taped hand.
Regardless of several additional cuts during the shooting of the fight, this fight can still be titled as one of the best fight of the season.
2. Matt Vs. Dex Vs. Fisk (Season 3)
At the end of the third season all of the fans wanted a good final showdown. But the ending was very unexpected. In Fisk's penthouse, Matt confronts Dex while both confronts Fisk as well.
The three figures fights individually till Fisk ends Dex's rampage by brutally breaking his back banging him to a wall. Then the two old enemies face each other till Fisk is covered in his own blood and lost all his hope to win against Matt. Matt came to kill Fisk, but his true self failed him. Matt is a fighter, not a murderer. Matt and Fisk makes a deal; stay away from Foggy Nelson and Karen Page or Fisk's beloved new wife, Vanessa shall pay the price. Both of the opponents shook hands to make a deal and Matt leaves Fisk in the hands of the NYDP.
1. Prison Escape(Season 3)
This eleven minute one shot scene is the most impressive and memorable part of season 3. This scene includes brawls, important and emotional dialogues. This one shot scene was so successful that everyone deserved eulogy.
Matt gains illegal access to a prison in Staten island to question a prisoner about the Albanians. But he ended up being one of Wilson Fisk's target. Fisk sends a small army of his men to get to Matt. Matt fights his way out on the corridor with some thugs and finds himself in the hands of the Albanians. He made promise to the Albanian leader so the Albanian helped Matt to escape from the prison. While Matt was escaping we saw a complete riot in the prison. Prisoners were fighting back the police, Bloodied and bruised bodies lay here and there, bombs and smoke grenades blasting here and there. But eventually Matt gets to run away from the riot.
The achievement of this scene brings out the best of what Daredevil can do. It's purely not a fight scene but for it's amazing set up it can be said the series's best moment.
'Marvel's Daredevil has captivated the heart of the fans for it's extraordinary story line, stunning acting from the cast and obviously the fight scenes that makes this series the best Netflix Marvel has offered.
