Google will launch Android 11 public beta on June 3rd in an online event

Google every year releases the public beta version of the latest version of Android on Google's I/O event. The event for this year was scheduled to take place from May 12-14. But this year due to the pandemic, Google cancelled its event. So Google has now decided to release the public beta in an online event on the 3rd of June. The event is named "#Android11: The Beta Launch Show”.

The 2nd beta has been moved to July and the 3rd has been moved to August. Earlier today, Google released a new developer preview for Android 11 which includes bug fixes and a few minor updates.

It was expected that the event would happen online. Google was also supposed to launch its Pixel 4a in Google I/O alongside 2020 Pixel buds. Pixel buds were released earlier this week and Pixel 4a is expected to release later this month.
