The bow-yielding Avenger is finally getting his own project, Hawkeye, which is set to explore his after Endgame life and his mantle being passed to Kate Bishop. The production is said to wrapped but not much plot details have been leaked so far. But that doesn't stop interesting set photos emerging through online.
Besides Kate Bishop, Echo, played by Alaqua Cox, is set to be introduced in MCU through this Disney+ show. Instagram user aguun007 revealed a set photo of Jeremy Renner with Alaqua Cox in perfectly comic accurate costumes.
According to the user, the behind-the-scenes photo was actually posted by Alaqua Cox on Instagram, but it seems the actress has already deleted the post as it went viral.
Jeremy Renner is seen donning the comic accurate purple black costume suit alongside Alaqua Cox's Echo, whose suit also closely resembles the one from Marvel Comics.
It is still not revealed if the new character Echo will serve as an ally or an antagonist in this show. But different set photos do reveal she will play a vital role, possibly with a heroic turn. That doesn't mean she will be a whole evil character, and we could see Clint Barton, Kate Bishop and Echo teaming to take up on the mission.
Hawkeye's comic accurate costume after such a long time might mean there's much for this character in MCU. This is not the end of the Avenger and we will see more of him in upcoming years.
The release date has not been revealed yet but it is confirmed that Hawkeye will premiere later this year, exclusively on Disney+.
