Samuel L. Jackson is returning to MCU to play as Nick Fury but this time, in his own Disney+ series. Though the series is not confirmed by Disney yet, Variety reports that Samuel L. Jackson is lined to reprise his role as Nick Fury, former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. for his own live-action Disney+ show.
Nick Fury was last seen during the post credits scene of Spider-man: Far From Home, chilling in a Skrull ship somewhere in the space while he had a Skrull impostor posing as himself on Earth.
Many questions arise on mind while analyzing the post-credits scene. Was Nick Fury in the ship all this time? Or was he there only during the time of Far From Home? Why was he in the ship anyways? For vacation or for protection? We may get answers of these question in this new unannounced series.
As the series is not officially announced, the plot and story-line is still a mystery to us. The story may also involve the time period after the events of Captain Marvel. A big amount of time may involve the Skrulls living on Earth and Nick Fury balancing the situations. Or there are chances of revealing much information about S.W.O.R.D (Sentient World Observation and Response Department), an intelligence group established to neutralize events of extraterrestrial threats on the planet. We also got some hints on the existence of S.W.O.R.D watching the latest trailer of WandaVision.
After the announcements of Marvel Disney+ shows like Falcon and the Winter Soldier, She-Hulk, Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight, a Nick Fury Disney+ show is not much unexpected. If this show gets the green light from Marvel Studios, this would be the latest big budget show of Marvel to be added with the other under-production shows.
