Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Will Poulter Breaks Silence on His Casting

From the day of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 releasing to present day, fans had been wondering about how Adam Warlock is going to appear in the future MCU. Since then, there have been a lot of speculations regarding the cast of Adam Warlock as well as many theories of his story-line in MCU. Although Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is still early in the development and two years away from debuting in the theaters, rumors started arising related to this long-awaited character.

Director James Gunn is known for debunking many rumors related to his project in Twitter and having conversations about the film. But the rumors of Will Poulter being casted as Adam Warlock was clearly avoided by Gunn. Later, Gunn took to Twitter to confirm the casting and welcomed Will Poulter to "the Guardians family."

Alongside the director, Will Poulter also broke his silence regarding his casting as MCU's Adam Warlock as he thanks Gunn and says he is "very excited to get to work."

Adam Warlock was teased in one of the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. After getting destroyed by the Guardians team, Ayesha vowed to destroy them and create a powerful being. A birthing pod was revealed who she named Adam. It is clear that Ayesha will return in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 along with Adam. Even though Adam Warlock was a key character in the Infinity Gauntlet Saga of Marvel Comics, it will be interesting to see how Adam fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the post-Endgame era without the Mad Titan Thanos

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to hit the theaters on May 5, 2023.
