WandaVision continues to drop easter eggs every week, but not some normal easter eggs. These X-Men easter eggs have fans confused of the upcoming future of MCU. Bringing X-Men's Quicksilver played by Evan Peters to MCU is not just a cameo (let us agree on that). All the X-Men details spotted in this show may mean something greater.
Besides a lot of details from X-Men movies, another worth analyzing is "Ellis Avenue" of Westview. In Episode 6, Wanda warned her children not to go past Ellis Avenue which was later on revealed to be the edge of one side of the Hex barrier.
When Vision was searching to explore Westview and find answers, we see this sign of Ellis Avenue where he found the borderline of the Hex. But the fun fact is that, the name Ellis was also mentioned in Fox's first X-Men movie from 2000.
Ellis Island incident from 2000's X-Men ties directly to the Hex anomaly. In this movie, Magneto creates a plan turning all the world leaders into mutants by arranging a meeting on Ellis Island. This acts as the boundary of turning the people mutants on that Island. This exact nature of boundary is more or less similar to Wanda's Hex boundary which causes to change a person's cells and its nature if a connection occurs.
Monica Rambeau has already passed the Hex border twice which resulted in changing he cells and patterns. Also the blank X-ray was also the reason of this Hex. The Hex is changing others with its energy which could be the root of arrivial of mutants in MCU.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already confirmed that there are plans of introducing X-Men in MCU in far future. WandaVision could be the foundation of X-Men which could be used to bring Mutants in future.
WandaVision is streaming on Disney+ and new episodes release every Friday.
