The Witcher Season 2: Edward Rowe casted to play King Henselt role


After several delays in the production of the next season of Netflix's The Witcher, reports say that, the production is almost two months away from being wrapped up. As the filming continues, information and details of the second season starts to leak and reveal from the set of The United Kingdom.
 
According to Redanian Intelligence, three more actors have been added to the cast of season 2, among which is Edward Rowe. He has been confirmed to play King Henselt, King of Kaedwen, introduced in the novel, Blood of Elves. This character is set to appear in the season in at least two episodes.

As season 2 will adapt Blood of Elves, it is highly likely that many Northern Kingdom Monarchs will be featured. Queen Meve of Lyria and Rivia, who will be played by Rebecca Hanssen, is also confirmed for the upcoming season.

Netflix's The Witcher premiered in December 2019. After many delays, filming resumed in August 2020 but later on, lead actor Henry Cavill's injured in a stunt scene. It is still not sure if it has lead to another delay. At this moment, there are no confirmations of release date of the upcoming season, but we can expect it anytime in late 2021.
